Donald Trump and Swedish activist Greta Thunberg aren’t exactly friends. Their latest clash erupted after Thunberg was deported from Israel on Monday, along with over 100 activists participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza — a convoy attempting to break the blockade.
Following the deportation, Trump called Thunberg a “troublemaker,” claiming it’s surprising she’s “so angry” at her age. He also suggested she has “anger management issues” and should see a doctor.
“She is just a troublemaker… she’s no longer into the environment now. She’s a troublemaker. She has an anger management problem. I think she should see a doctor… Have you ever watched her? She’s a young person. She’s so angry, so crazy… She’s just a troublemaker,” Trump said.
Thunberg, 22, had landed in Athens, Greece on Tuesday, where she addressed cheering supporters at the airport. It wasn’t immediately clear whether she was on a flight back to Sweden with other activists later that day.
