Learning to Live Again
Today, Julian continues his battle from home.
He is learning to drink from a bottle again, slowly regaining the basic skills that most babies take for granted. Each day is filled with therapy sessions and medical visits.
He requires continuous rehabilitation — exercises to strengthen his muscles, stimulate his development, and help him learn to control his breathing. He is under the care of numerous specialists:
Cardiologist, monitoring his fragile heart.
Endocrinologist, checking the hormonal balance affected by Down syndrome.
Pulmonologist and oncologist, ensuring his lungs and immune system stay strong.
Physiotherapists and occupational therapists, helping him develop the coordination and strength his body needs to grow.
Julian still depends on mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy, which are crucial for his survival. Every day, we carefully clean his tracheostomy tube, monitor his oxygen levels, and hope for another peaceful night — one without alarms, one where he can rest safely.
His smile, even when hidden behind medical tubes, gives us the courage to face another day.
The Strength of Love
Having a child like Julian changes everything.
Our daily routine revolves around hospital appointments, medications, and therapy schedules. But it also revolves around hope — an unbreakable, unconditional hope that keeps us moving forward.
There are moments when fear tries to take over — when we wonder what the future holds, whether he will ever walk, talk, or breathe without assistance. But then we look into his beautiful eyes and see light — a spark of determination that reminds us why we can never give up.
Julian has already survived what many would not. He has taught us that strength isn’t measured by size or age, but by the will to keep going, even when the world feels impossible.
A Plea for Help
As parents, we want nothing more than to give our son the best possible life. But the road ahead is long and incredibly expensive.
The cost of medical care, equipment, oxygen therapy, rehabilitation, and frequent hospital stays is overwhelming. We’ve spent everything we have and still, it’s not enough.
That’s why we are reaching out — with humble hearts — asking for your help.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings Julian one step closer to a healthier, brighter future.
Your support means more therapy sessions, better medical care, and most importantly — hope.
Hope that one day, he’ll breathe freely.
Hope that we’ll hear his laughter fill our home.
Hope that he’ll grow strong enough to live the life he deserves.
Our Little Sunshine
We often call him “our little sunbeam”, because despite all the darkness, Julian radiates light. His smile brightens even the most difficult days. He doesn’t know fear — only courage. He doesn’t give up — he simply fights, quietly but powerfully.
We believe that with love, medicine, and your support, our little sunshine will continue to shine brighter each day.
From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for standing with us in this journey.
Together, we can give Julian the greatest gift of all:
a chance to live, to grow, to shine.
