47 Bikers Showed Up for a 5-Year-Old Who Lost His Dad

For three weeks, my son Tommy refused to go to school. His dad, Jim, had died riding his motorcycle, and Tommy was terrified I might vanish too.
Then at 7 a.m., the rumble of 47 motorcycles filled the street. Jim’s biker friends, led by his best Army buddy Bear, had arrived. And in Bear’s hands… Jim’s helmet — restored, whole, and holding a secret.
Inside was a note from Jim:
“Tommy, you’re never alone. My brothers will always watch over you. Be kind, live true, and ride hard. Love, Dad.”
Tommy’s eyes widened. “Did Daddy really write that?”
“Yes, sweetheart,” I whispered.
That morning, 47 bikers escorted my little boy to kindergarten, engines roaring and hearts wide open.
