Cameron Hughes knows how to light up a crowd. At a Vegas Golden Knights game, he took things to another level dancing to Billy Idol’s “Mony Mony.”
The video starts with Hughes just sitting in the stands like everyone else. Then the camera finds him and he jumps into a full-on dance, heading to the aisle and going all in.

The crowd gets into it right away. He rips off his shirt to reveal a Golden Knights one underneath and then starts tossing shirts to the fans. People online couldn’t get enough of it. The video hit 1.1 million views on YouTube and has been watched over and over again.
Fans left comments like “It makes me so happy I cry and I’ve watched it multiple times. I don’t care if it’s staged or not. It’s great! It takes a good sense of humor and love for humanity to make this happen and I appreciate it” and “I love this video, I’ve seen it literally about 100 times. When I am in a bad mood, this video cheers me up every time.”
But this isn’t just a one-off for Hughes. He’s done the same kind of thing at other big events, like the HSBC Singapore Rugby Sevens.
In that clip, he dances to Bob Sinclar’s “Rock This Party (Everybody Dance Now)” and moves all over the steps with this wild, high-energy routine. Somehow he pulls it off without falling flat on his face.

Turns out, he’s not just a passionate sports fan. Hughes is a Canadian professional crowd igniter, and teams bring him in specifically to fire up their fans.
He’s worked big games like the NBA finals, US Open, and NHL All-Star Game. On top of that, he gives inspirational speeches too.
