It started like any ordinary morning. The sun cast a golden glow over the dew-covered grass as my dog, Bruno, zoomed around the garden, ears flapping and nose twitching. Everything felt peaceful — until it wasn’t.
Near an old stump, I noticed something strange: tiny orange spheres, almost glowing in the morning light. At first, I assumed they were rubber balls the neighbor’s kids had thrown over. But as I spotted more scattered near the bench, fence, and compost heap, panic set in — these weren’t ordinary objects.
Before I could stop him, Bruno grabbed one in his mouth. My heart raced. “Drop it, Bruno!” I shouted. He obeyed, but the fear lingered. Could it be poisonous? What had he just bitten? I snapped a few photos and immediately called our vet, hoping for answers.
