The Cry That Changed Everything

After a grueling 48-hour shift, firefighter Ethan stepped into his apartment elevator — drained, silent, ready to collapse.

But before the doors could close, a faint cry echoed from behind a janitor’s cart.
There, hidden in the corner, was a baby girl in a carrier — wrapped in a pink blanket with a note pinned to it:

“Please take care of her.”
