Another day, another headline from Donald Trump that’s turning heads.
The former president has never been shy about making big promises — from releasing the Epstein files to claiming he’d end the Russia-Ukraine war “before even sitting down in the Oval Office.” Now, Trump is at it again, this time vowing to hand out $2,000 payments to “almost everyone” in the United States.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump declared, “A dividend of at least $2,000 a person (not including high income people!) will be paid to everyone.” According to him, the funds would come directly from tariff revenue, which he described as a massive success for the U.S. economy.
“People that are against Tariffs are FOOLS!” he wrote. “We are now the Richest, Most Respected Country In the World, With Almost No Inflation, and A Record Stock Market Price. We are taking in Trillions of Dollars and will soon begin paying down our ENORMOUS DEBT.”
While the promise has sparked excitement, Trump failed to mention when the payments might be made or who exactly qualifies. Without details, the announcement feels more like political theater than policy — at least for now.

According to relatives, Renee had spoken calmly, almost protectively, telling her children exactly how she wanted them to live if anything ever happened to her — how to take care of one another, who to listen to, and what not to carry with them. One line, shared by the family, immediately spread across social media, stopping people mid-scroll and leaving thousands in tears. It wasn’t fear she passed on — it was strength, guidance, and love delivered before tragedy ever struck. As the words circulated online, strangers began sharing them as if they were their own, turning a private mother’s final message into a collective moment of mourning that now refuses to fade quietly….
