Cheeseburger-Inspired Wraps

These Cheeseburger Wraps are the perfect solution when you want all the flavors of a classic diner burger but in a lighter, more portable package. Using a mix of cheddar and mozzarella gives you that iconic sharp flavor plus an irresistible “cheese pull.” The secret? Toasting the wraps at the end. It seals the seam and gives the tortilla a satisfying crunch, just like a toasted burger bun.

Cheeseburger Wraps

Ingredients:

Ingredient Amount
Ground beef 450 g (1 lb)
Flour tortillas 4 large
Shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup
Shredded mozzarella (optional) ½ cup
Onion, finely chopped 1 small
Chopped pickles ½ cup
Shredded lettuce 1 cup
Tomato, diced 1 medium
Garlic powder 1 teaspoon
Paprika 1 teaspoon
Salt ½ teaspoon
Black pepper ½ teaspoon

Optional Sauce:

Ingredient Amount
Mayonnaise ¼ cup
Ketchup 2 tablespoons
Mustard 1 teaspoon

How to Make Cheeseburger Wraps

Step 1: Cook the Beef
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook for 6–8 minutes, breaking the meat into small crumbles, until fully browned and the onions are soft.

Step 2: Season
Sprinkle garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper over the beef. Stir well. Drain any excess grease to prevent soggy tortillas.

Step 3: Whisk the Sauce (Optional)
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard until smooth and creamy.

Step 4: Assemble the Wraps
Lay a tortilla flat. Spread a spoonful of sauce in the center, then layer seasoned beef, cheese blend, pickles, lettuce, and diced tomato.

Step 5: Wrap It Up
Fold the left and right sides toward the center, then roll from the bottom up like a burrito.

Step 6: Toast to Perfection (Optional)
Place wraps seam-side down in a hot, dry skillet. Toast ½ minute per side until golden brown and the cheese melts inside.
