After Battling Addiction and Heartbreak, Lady A’s Charles Kelley and Wife Cassie Welcome Their Second Son
After years of both challenge and triumph, Lady A’s Charles Kelley and his wife Cassie are celebrating a new beginning — the arrival of their second son, Archer Lancaster Kelley, born September 16, 2025, at 11:14 a.m. Weighing 6 lbs., 11 oz., Archer joins proud big brother Ward, now nine years old.
“Our little miracle Archer Lancaster Kelley arrived safely, and we are absolutely in love,” the couple shared. “We’re so thankful to be his mom and dad — and to see Ward so thrilled to be a big brother!”
The Kelleys first revealed their pregnancy in March 2025 through a heartfelt Instagram announcement captured by photographer Mary Craven Dawkins. In the photos, Cassie radiated joy in a soft green, off-the-shoulder dress as she posed alongside Charles and Ward.
“Biggest surprise of our lives! Baby Kelley coming early fall 2025 🍼👶🏻🤰🏼,” they wrote, adding that Ward was “the MOST excited big brother.”
Throughout her pregnancy, Cassie shared glimpses of her journey with fans — from a floral-themed baby brunch to designing Archer’s charming nursery. Her signature décor style shone through with gingham prints, vintage touches, and soft green and yellow tones. Reflecting on her final summer before Archer’s arrival, Cassie wrote:
“The summer I spent carrying you 💙 — all over the world, with friends, with family, with ocean breezes and cityscapes… But no matter where I was, I was always with you, buddy. Can’t wait for you to be here.”
