79-year-old superstar Cher was a guest on the podcast Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard when she did not hold back on her opinion about the actor and host of the podcast.
During the podcast episode, Cher can be seen visibly making a good bond with Kristen Bell, who is married to Shepard, so much so that she went ahead to comment that she did not understand what Bell saw in Shepard. The couple has been married for over 12 years and share two children together.
Cher who spoke about her book Cher: The Memoir, Part 1, spoke about the trauma she has seen in her life.
Shepard commented on the trauma, “There’s a pressure on people to have dealt with their own trauma in a very accepted way – and I like when people don’t deal with their trauma that way, like mine was active like yours was. There was violence, there was addiction.
“Couldn’t be more grateful, ultimately I’m in this house with this woman and these two kids – f***ing, I wouldn’t change a thing,” he added.
To this, Cher wittily said while referring to Dax Shepard’s wife, Kristen Bell, “You’re lucky, she’s definitely the better half.”
The conversation then went on about trauma but Shepard brought it back to the comment Cher made, seemingly not wanting to let it go.
He tried to be lighthearted and asked, “Who would you like to see Kristen with? If you got to pick from every available bachelor – oh, they don’t even have to be available, they can be some taken ones if you want. Who would be your dream partner for her? Because I know you think she could do better, and I don’t disagree. Who would be your pick?”
When Cher told him that she did not know who she would pick, Shepard said, “Brad Pitt, maybe?”
As the episode was almost ending, Shepard wanted to note that Cher was ‘just not sold yet on me’.
This is when the singer doubled down on her earlier comment and said, “No, but the truth is I trust her. So, you must have something that I don’t see.”
The comment caught Bell off guard. She covered her mouth in shock and then laughed it off.
This is when Monica Padman, the podcast’s co-host, added, “But Reese Witherspoon said that, too – She said there’s something about women like a smart, strong, awesome, funny woman. If they’re with a man, you’re like, there must be something to that man!”
Bell immediately came to her husband’s defense and said “There is! There’s a lot to this man.”

One line, shared by the family, immediately spread across social media, stopping people mid-scroll and leaving thousands in tears. It wasn’t fear she passed on — it was strength, guidance, and love delivered before tragedy ever struck. As the words circulated online, strangers began sharing them as if they were their own, turning a private mother’s final message into a collective moment of mourning that now refuses to fade quietly….
