US food influencer Michael Duarte, known to over two million followers as FoodwithBearHands, has tragically passed away in what his family described as a “horrible incident.” The sudden loss occurred while he was traveling through Texas on Saturday, November 8, just days after celebrating his ninth wedding anniversary with his wife, Jessica.
Alooma Media Group, Duarte’s talent agency, shared the news on Instagram, writing, “It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our valued client and dear friend, Michael Duarte. He was a true & loyal partner, a trusted collaborator, and above all, a remarkable person. His passion, professionalism, and creativity left a lasting mark not only on our team but on everyone who had the privilege of working with him.”
Duarte’s social media presence spanned Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube, where he shared his love for cooking, BBQ, and grilling. His Instagram bio read: “my purpose is to share to the world food to people who need it the most.” Though the cause of his death has not been disclosed, the loss has left fans and the food community in shock.
