Marco Rubio’s Labor Day Joke Has Trump in Stitches

Washington, D.C. — What began as another serious Cabinet meeting at the White House took an unexpectedly cheerful turn when Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered a perfectly timed Labor Day joke that had the entire room — including President Trump — in fits of laughter.
As discussions grew heavy, Rubio leaned forward with a grin and quipped that Labor Day had become “the most meaningful holiday” of his life. “After all,” he joked, “I’m juggling more jobs than anyone else in this room — Secretary of State, interim National Security Adviser, acting USAID administrator, and apparently the temporary archivist of the National Archives.”
The room erupted. A few aides tried to stifle their chuckles, but when Rubio added, “At this point, I’m thinking of applying for employee of the month,” even the President couldn’t resist.
