Rising Star Taken Too Soon — Isabelle Tate’s Heartbreaking Final Days
Isabelle Tate, the talented young actress from 9-1-1: Nashville, has tragically passed away at just 23. Her agency, McCray Agency, confirmed the news on Instagram, revealing she died peacefully from complications related to a rare nerve disorder — Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT).
Earlier this year, Isabelle made a triumphant return to acting after years of health struggles. She appeared in the pilot episode of 9-1-1: Nashville, which aired on October 6. Her performance as Julie, a wheelchair user, moved both audiences and co-stars alike. Actor Hunter McVey shared, “She had such a great energy. You could tell she brought joy to a lot of people. I’m thankful I got to work with Isabelle.”
Born and raised in Nashville, Isabelle grew up in Franklin and earned a business degree from Middle Tennessee State University before pursuing acting full-time. Beyond her career, she was known for her humor, resilience, and love for music and animals.
Her family — parents Katerina and John, stepfather Vishnu, and sister Daniella — will hold a public visitation at Forest Hills Methodist Church in Brentwood, followed by a funeral service led by Reverend Jim Hughes. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association in her memory.
